Oh yeah, no problem.

Calabassas is definitely in our neighborhood!

I'm pretty new to Perl coding, though I've been using other people's Perl
for years. I'd love to swing by the next meeting, if you don't mind. I
work out here in Calabasas as a build and deployment engineer. Got room
for a very curious newbie?

Appreciate it.

  Hey Everybody,

Last night was a smaller group than normal, but we still met.

We gathered at ValueClick to catch anyone who wasn't caught up with the
e-mails and then went to a nearby restaurant and re-conveniened.

I gave a presentation on using Perl and purely open-source modules to
create spreadsheets in the proprietary XLS format (I know, sounds
mutually exclusive, but that was part of the presentation).

We also discussed various topics relating to Perl and it's applications
  in our individual environments.

According to my calendar, our next meeting will be on July 12th.

Hope to see you all then,

  Daniel
