Message-ID: <51279.78.154.109.125.1307977031.squirrel@yellowside.org.uk> Hi All. I've not seen any traffic from this list in quite some time - is it still alive? In the hope that it is, I need some help, please. I'm trying to build a perl app with a Gtk2::TreeView in it. I've built the main window with Glade, and then I've started populating the tree store. I get the store by calling $builder->get_object('xml_store') Initialliy, this returns an empty Gtk2::Treestore hash, which seems reasonable. I then populate the store with assorted ->append and ->set calls. At each stage, the store still claims to be the same empty hash, which no longer seems reasonable. Am I doing something monumentally stupid? Thanks! Vic. However I'm about to be moving away from the region of miltonkeynes.pm and down to "sunny" Reading. Wikipedia says this qualifies as Thames Valley. I'd like to try at least to have some social meets of this group, so will probably unilaterally declare a pub meet sometime after August, relocation permitting. Feel free to mail me off-list if you have thoughts, ideas, suggestions for a good ale house, etc. regards, oliver. We meet on the second Wednesday of the month in the Back of Beyond, Reading. Not much use if you're after Windows advice or the like, though. There was already quite an intersection so it worked well. When numbers swelled it reverted to monthly meetings, offset from the LUG so that people could attend both. So many thanks for the SCLUG heads-up, I'll try to come along, and if there's little interest in a TV Perl meeting then I guess that'll be our surrogate :-) regards, oliver.
