SPUG: when is 5.10 not > 5.8?

Unfortunate?  If I didn't like Perl so much, I'd call it professional
malpractice to require one form but report another.

At least 'perldoc -f use' shows the "5.006_001" form.  Is this still
preferred to 'v5.6.1'?
