Folks, I'm very ignorant about the internals of Perl, and I've run into a consideration that I just don't have a clue about. Is there likely to be any benefit to a 64 bit machine instead of a 32 bit one, in terms of speed of Perl on it, or is that just throwing money down the drain? Any input would be appreciated.
