This is what is happening, I type i /mason/ from cpan and after displays all the different options it is showing this error:

87 items found
Use of chdir('') or chdir(undef) as chdir() is deprecated at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/CPAN.pm line 188, <FIN> line 2.

any idea what this all about?..
