Here's the "call for papers" I received today from the new
editor of The Perl Journal.  So please consider writing up
an article on something interesting you've done with Perl,
and you'll achieve publicity, karmic upgrades, and even
financial profit - $350 for feature articles.

Hi Tim,

I'm Jon Erickson, an editor The Perl Journal and Dr. Dobb's Journal. I
don't know if have run across the news but we're relaunching TPJ as an
e-zine (see www.tpj.com). The first issue should be out in a couple of
weeks, and it will be monthly after that. Needless to say, we'll be
looking for more articles than ever before so I'd like to invite you (or
any SPUG members, etc) to submit any ideas, articles, etc. I know you've
written for TPJ in the past and hope you'll consider writing for it
again. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
