SPUGsters,

I've just been e-chatting with Jon Orwant, senior TPJ editor, and he tells
me that he's turning the TPJ issues he edited into three "Best of TPJ"
books, to be published by O'Reilly in May, June, and July, with some of
the authors donating their stipends to YAS.

The books are:
	* Computer Science & Perl Programming: Best of The Perl Journal
	* Web, Graphics & Perl/Tk: Best of The Perl Journal
	* Games, Diversions & Perl Culture: Best of The Perl Journal

The first book is nearing completion and will be about 650 pages
with 71 articles by 41 contributors. The second and third books
will be smaller, perhaps around 400 pages each.

And by the way, despite rumours to the contrary, The Perl Journal
is still in existence; surf on over to www.tpj.com for details.
