We don't have any here! ;-)  Nonetheless, it doesn't sound like FastCGI
would necessarily solve this issue either.

For some general stats on performance of different OS's/web
servers/applications, you should check out
http://www.chamas.com/bench/hello_bysystem.html. Nothing there on FastCGI
and most of the stats are _not_ reliable b/c the benchmarking client was on
the same machine as the web server, but it's still an interesting reference.
