	   UNIX PROCESS MANAGEMENT WITH PERL
How to Write Daemons and Do Multi-Tasking

At our September meeting, Darren Stalder, of the "Discordian
Alliance for Teaching", will describe how to use Perl to write
daemons and do multi-tasking on Unix systems. While explaining
his sample programs, he will provide a brief description
of socket communication and a more detailed explanation of
multi-tasking techniques.

The meeting will be held on 9/21/99, at 7pm, at Fred's Cancer
Center (South end of Lake Union, in Seattle). See the
web-site for a map and more details.

P.S. Anybody wanting to make a presentation at an upcoming
meeting should get in touch with Tim!
