VI better that emacs? How neo-conservative!  Some good points here, but I
don't know about the arrow keys being "inherently evil".  I suffer with
modern keyboards, and look forward to better days.  (I still mess myself up
in vi by hitting Caps Lock by mistake.)  I think a good solution is some
kind of quickly-configurable keyboard that can be customized the way Motif,
KDE, Gnome can be.  It's impossible to please everybody with one keyboard.
