As usual, we'll be in the Platform Tavern at 8pm this Wednesday. Last month, we actually talked about programming! This month, I've been trying to come up with a Plack migration strategy, hacking on the Libreoffice Perl installer code, and thinking up ways to improve Southampton Central Library's computing section. Conversation fodder indeed. Anyone else coming? Anything we should prepare to talk about? :) -- Tim Retout -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... This might be a bit off topic, though I will share what interests me. I would love to hear some ideas about IPv6 stuff. I had this idea to do a security tool for IPv6 vulnerabilities ( in particular from THC-IPv6 attack suite ) for my final year project, but few projects did it over the summer. Damn them! and it just blows my mind, I don't want to work a year on some subject, which someone already did.. So if someone got a good idea about what I could do on IPv6, which would be reasonable to finish within my final year project frame, I would love to hear! Indeed, send me an email now! :P Thanks, Vytas On Mon, Oct 1, 2012 at 8:24 PM, Tim Retout wrote: > Yes, it's the start of the month again! Oh dear - which things were done? Was it everything from the list at the top of http://www.thc.org/thc-ipv6/ ? Perhaps the author of THC-IPv6 would be a better person to ask! -- Tim Retout -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... There was a lot of work done on IPv6 for Perl 5.12 and 5.14. It's possible that there's something left over. Perl, viaTPF, didn't get accepted on to the Google Summer of Code this year. Somebody may have an idea which he was planning to put forward for that.
