Hi everybody,

It's been eight years and four months (approximately) since the last
e-mail to this mailing list. Is anybody still around? I'd love to see
this group get started again; PerlMonks and their ilk are such a
fantastic resources, and it's a shame we don't have something similar
closer to home.

Hi,

Just stumbled upon a nice article by Andy Lester; its many months old,
but - I think - still relevant. He writes about Perl losing the
mindshare game, and what can be done to increase its profile, and to
bring eager new Perlics into the fold. As a young group hoping to have
a PM meeting in a month or two, I think this is really relevent to us!
