i'm sure there are lots of people using perl, but they all
seem to be avoiding this list.  i've been on this list for
more than a year, and there's been zero traffic.  oh well
--- i'm going back to the US next month where my town's
phl.pm is a much more substantial presence.

if you want, i have perl mongers caps and o'reilly's
t-shirts snarfed from last year's yapc99 for distribution.
