[SP-pm] [LA.pm] jobs available, going unfulfilled

Não sabia que que o problema de programador Perl atingia a outros países
além do Brasil.

Talvez pela falta de *marketing* da linguagem nos últimos anos, e a
evidência de outras tecnologias *similares* - PHP, RoR, Python - colaboraram
para essa queda no número de programadores experientes em Perl.

Eu mesmo tenho uma experiência de desenvolvimento de alguns anos com PHP e
nunca tinha ouvido falar em modern perl até conhecer a SP-pm.

Hoje mesmo conversei com uma equipe de Java que trabalha no mesmo espaço que
eu. Eles tinham que entregar hoje um produto e ainda faltam partes. Então
comentei sobre Ruby on Rails, eles poderiam continuar desenvolvendo coisas
em Java e Ruby no mesmo ambiente, só precisam absorver o RoR. Comentei
também que a programação em perl provavelmente seria uma boa saída, mas
todos eles já tinham uma opinião que Perl é díficil e etc.

Se os profissionais não mudarem a postura quanto a linguagem Perl, esse
quadro tende a piorar conforme o passar do tempo, pois várias outras
tecnologias prometem agilidade e isso não vai acabar.
