Dear Larry,

The São Paulo Perl Mongers were studying the Perl History, and we are
wondering over several different versions of the history that affirm you
were working either at Unisys or for NASA's Jet Propulsion Labs by the
time you created the Perl language.

The essential part of the discussion is running in Brazilian Portuguese,
so I will translate the main questions for you here. I hope the top part
of this email don't get entangled in your anti-spam system...

A. Where were you working by the time you created the Perl language?
Unisys, NASA's Jet Prop lab, or NSA?

B. Do you think the authors of "Beginning Perl" and "Perl: How to
Program" are cherry picking on your CV trying to boost up the book's sales?

C. Thiago asks if I believe you would answer an email from him with this
questions. Do you answer questions from "mere mortals" like me and Thiago?

Thank you very much for taking the time to write back to us.
