There are only a limited number of cuisines that taste right
after being transported, put on a steam table, etc.
IMHO, pizza isn't really one of them (compare the taste of a
freshly-baked pizza to one which has been steamed for twenty
minutes in a cardboard box). So, I often have some other
dinner before attending meetings where pizza will be served.
Slow-cooked sauces over rice work pretty well. So, Indian
and some Chinese (eg, clay pot) are fine. Soups would also
work OK, except that they may be awkward to eat.
It's a puzzlement...
