This doesn't answer any of the questions I asked.  Not sure why
you responded to be with a non-responsive answer.  {sigh}

Half the battle of getting something solved is figuring out what you're doing
in the first case.

          WHY ARE YOU RECURSING INSTEAD OF ITERATING?
