From rkleeman at energoncube.net Wed Jan 2 11:38:47 2019 From: rkleeman at energoncube.net (Bob Kleemann) Date: Wed, 2 Jan 2019 11:38:47 -0800 Subject: [San-Diego-pm] Quarterly Meeting on Tuesday, January 8th Message-ID: Hey San Diego Perl Mongers, This is just a quick reminder that our normal quarterly meeting, which takes place on the second Tuesday of each quarter, will be happening next week at the same location, the offices of DrJays.com. If you're interested in topics of discussion, presentations, or anything else please let me know. Also, if you intend to be there, please let me know that, and what your interests in the meeting are (so topics can be focussed appropriately). I'll send update everyone on the planned discussions as I get them squared away. I look forward to chatting with you all on Tuesday! If you're thinking about coming, please let me know, so we can make sure to have enough food and chairs for everyone. Pizza will be available a half-hour before the meeting starts. As for discussion topics, Amazon AWS, Elasticsearch, and Docker are three topics that might get discussed. Also, there are a couple of bugs(?) that I've noticed that I wanted to discuss. Additionally, a request was made for a recap of recent Perl community history. I will email out further details about the meeting on Monday. I hope that everyone can make it. Please let me know if you intend to come. I have some smaller discussions planned as well, and there may be other discussions that are brought forth. Please let me know that you're coming, so that there is enough pizza and chairs provided. Pizza will be available at 6:30. We'll start the meeting at 7. We will start off with any questions and discuss those as people seem interested, and then delve into the deeper discussions. You'll be able to find us at the offices of DrJays.com, 7930 Arjons Dr Suite D, San Diego, CA 92126. Within the complex, it is the building that is the furthest back and west. Look for the printouts for Perl Mongers. I look forward to seeing everyone tonight!
