be hosting our quarterly Perl Mongers meeting.  We will be meeting at the
same venue as last time, the offices of DrJays.com, 7930 Arjons Dr, Suite
D, 92126.  We'll start about 7 PM, and go until we've exhausted all of the
presentations and conversation.  If you're planning on coming, please let
me know, just to ensure that we have proper seating.

As we normally do, come with your questions, and we will do our best to
answer them.  Following questions, we will commence with presentations, and
then we'll follow it up with discussion, and then we'll plan for the next
meeting.

Also, if you would like to present something at this or a future meeting,

So here we are, three weeks into 2018. If one of your New Year's
Resolutions was to make sure PerlMongers continued to be represented at the
annual Southern California Linux Expo, this is your chance!

I'll be stepping down as organizer of the PerlMongers booth this year, but
I'm happy to help someone else pick up the torch. All that's required is
scheduling everyone to spend time as the public face of Perlmongers, and
setting up and tearing down the booth. We've sometimes printed t-shirts in
the past, and provided literature, but the choice of whether to do all of
that (or more!) will be entirely up to the new organizer.

Last call, though. As I mentioned in my previous email, I have a very nice
banner I can donate, and I'll be happy to advise the new organizer, but if
you don't step forward, it may not happen.
