[San-Diego-pm] Sort problem

I've tried everything I can think of without success.

my @A = ('aaa10.jpg','aaa9.jpg','bbb9.jpg','bbb10.jpg');

The desired order:
aaa9.jpg
aaa10.jpg
bbb9.jpg
bbb10.jpg

Sorted first by the text. Those with the same text sorted numerically.

Any help appreciated.
