Thank you. I'll save that.

I now have this installed in my laptop and I have the test program 
working. I have also added captcha code to some existing forum code and 
it appears to work. Am now waiting for my client's host to install 
captcha & GD on his servers. In general, I'm off and running.

And along the way, I got an education (which I wrote down) on how to 
install perl modules in windows when they don't necessarily want to be 
installed there.
