What are you trying to do?  Do you want your script to make a reqeust to
http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/x.pl, retrieve the results, and use the results for
something?  If so, you want LWP.  system, backticks, and other perl builtins
only execute programs on the *local* machine, not across a network.
