I'll wait for him to give a final description before I announce what it's on, but it sounds good. It might be interesting to arrange a second speaker who would have more broad appeal outside just the Perl community -- this could possibly lend a bit of a boost to the group. If anyone has a suggestion on someone local to Salt Lake valley or Utah valley who they would like to hear from at an upcoming PerlMongers meeting I'm happy to hear suggestions, and to do what I can to invite that person. We could then ask UTOS and SiliconSlopes if they would provide an announcement or a website link. I know the time and location are always challenging for some segment of our group. In September we are going to use an Endurance office at 222 S Main St in Salt Lake City. Parking will be validated. I'd just like to try it out and see how it goes, with the thought that we might use that facility from time to time in the future if it works out well. Please let me know if you have suggestions.
