We are looking for an junior full stack engineer who can contribute as part
of a larger distributed team to build the APIs that will be the base of our
entire Enterprise Tools platform, which drives marketing initiatives across
all of the brands emPowered by the Endurance International Group.  This is
a perfect opportunity for a capable self-starter with a desire to own and
drive development projects from start to finish. This role will focus on
helping to build, maintain, and expand tools that are used for upcoming
projects, including:  creating A/B tests, building single page web apps for
customer acquisition and creation of dynamic marketing pages to launch new
campaigns / sales and pricing updates.



The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of RESTful APIs
built on a lightweight framework. This person should have a knowledge of
agile/scrum and be able to work with a distributed team.  Additionally,
this person shouldhave knowledge of a scripting language (Perl, Ruby, PHP,
or Python) and understand how APIs interact with front end JavaScript to
create the best user experiences.



The ideal candidate possesses a desire to build and manage RESTful APIs
built on a lightweight framework, work with dynamic single page web apps,
and learn about the newest concepts in the web development space and
applying them to our applications.



*Responsibilities*



The Full Stack Engineer will:



   - Help to build out APIs to communicate with single page web apps and
   marketing pages.
   - Test code structure and cleanliness, build and perform unit tests and
   document processes as needed.
   - Work closely with Front End engineers and UX designers to create web
   applications



*Required Qualifications and Experience:*



   - Experience building RESTful APIs in a lightweight web framework (MVC,
   Flask etc)
   - Understanding in using repositories and versioning systems
   - Working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and HTML
   - Ability to communicate clearly and often; can turn stakeholder
   feedback into clear tasks to carry out
   - A desire to have fun at work, learn new stuff and mentor others.



*Preferred Qualifications and Experience:*



   - Familiarity with apache, nginx, swagger/RAML, Mojolicious
   - Working knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design
   - Experience working for a web host, or with web hosting products and
   services
   - Basic technical knowledge of web hosting technologies (cPanel, Linux,
   etc.), FTP, SSH
   - Experience working in an Agile environment (using Scrum) and tools
   such as JIRA, Confluence, Stash and the Atlassian suite
