*OpenWest Training Day - May 6th:*
Many people have expressed an interested in a Training track presented
by some of Utah's finest schools.  We've arranged for some excellent
classes and for $175 you can attend either a full day class or 2 half
day classes.  Please take a minute to look at the offerings and let us
know which you're interested in (No obligation, just a survey)!

*OpenWest Community Initatives:*
- From the CFP to the Community Vote, OpenWest is very much a
community-driven conference. As part of our commitment to diversity,
I'm VERY happy to announce we will have ASL Translators (American Sign
Language) present for the OpenWest Keynotes.  Additionally, we are
devising a way to have them available for the rest of the conference
where they are needed.  Truthfully, we need your help with this.  If
you need a translator and interested in attending, please email
asl at openwest.org. This will give us an idea of need, and be able to
start working with this group to see how we can best help you.

*OpenWest Conference Tickets:*
OpenWest has a history of selling out.  This year will be no
different. ;)  Really, we have a fantastic event planned with a
hardware project, excellent Keynotes, awesome presentations, and
amazing events. So, I'm warning you now, get your tickets early!
Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, Feb 18.  Please go to

Lastly, the ticket prices are changing this year.  We wrestled with it
and feel it is in the best interest of the Community.  The extra funds
give us the ability to get better speakers, you get a meal now on each
day!, really -- the benefits for you are a lot.  The ticket pricing is
below:

$65 - Discounted Ticket with a user group member discount*
$55 - Small Team Discount with 4 - 10 ticket purchased at the same time
$45 - Large Team Discount 11+ ticket purchases
$120 - Base Ticket Price with no discount
