Salt Lake Perl Mongers!

We've got Danny Brian coming next week to BetterServers to talk about the
current and future state of web technologies. Anyone interested is
invited! Here's the info:

Current and Future State of Web Technologies

Join us for a broad discussion about HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, frameworks,
Web browser evolution, and the mobile Web. How mature are the new
technologies and techniques? Is responsive design everything it claims?
Will Web technologies win over native mobile apps? Danny Brian will lead a
discussion on the future outlook of Web applications, and demonstrate some
tools and techniques for modern Web development.

Danny Brian is a recovering Flash guru who works as a Web developer by
night. By day Danny works as an industry research analyst for Gartner,
covering the presentation layer of apps and applications from a design and
development perspective. In addition to his own development activities, he
speaks to hundreds of organizations per year about their application
technology choices, and how those choices impact architecture, user
experience, and strategy.

Time: Thursday, September 26, 7 p.m.
