Subject: [Salem-pm] totally off-topic - overnight parking in Salem?

My wife has a couple of friends coming to visit, and they're going to
combine cars to go down Ashland leaving one car behind in Salem.  Does
anyone have a recommendation of a reasonably safe place to leave a car
overnight?  (We don't live in Salem, so it's not like we can park it at our
house.)

The Super Walmart on the other side of the airport from where we
usually meet is probably not too bad.  It's a 24 hour place, adjacent
to Lowes, the National Guard station, and not much else.

Good idea.  It's also near I-5, which is where they're headed.  The other
place I had in mind is the airport itself.  Compared to "real" airports,
the parking is seriously cheap there - used to be $1/day.
