'a colelgue', riiiight. i think the brutishness of the pipe usage clearly
showed i'd long since stopped caring about being polite enough to
send SIGTERM but clearly you are correct. Except, surely in this case it's
more 'daft and irresponsible' than simply 'useless'. Though the page looks
like a good read - cheers.

However, i'm sure in terms of silly mess-ups everyone must have an 'rm -rf'
story to tell that tops any 'kill' story stupidity ;)
