In-Reply-To: References: <71DEA4F9-474F-4FC1-BBF4-9EA18F10E032@nacredata.com> Message-ID: I did have an off-list offer from an NCSU grad student to sponsor meeting space at Centennial Campus. I could give a talk about recent tweaks a coworker and I have made to our setup using DBIx::Class::Schema::Loader. It would be fun to do a hack night to see if we can fix a bug in a CPAN module -- like the mini Pull Request Challenge I did at New York City Perl Hackathon at the beginning of May. And of course we'd be open to talks or topics other people suggest and volunteer to lead. The next step will be to do a poll/canvas for availability (of the space and of some number of our members). Gearing up for YAPC::NA, but also just wanting some local Perl activity in the Triangle again, --bradoaks On Mon, Feb 2, 2015 at 6:13 AM, Matt Hicks wrote: > I've been using Perl at a new job, so definitely interested. I was a bit distracted when this first came through. If you have a position description or a job link, we should send it to the main announcement list. The raleigh-talk list is a lot smaller in number of subscribers (but broader in allowed content). Both lists are kinda stale, but job postings and meeting announcements warrant going to the larger list. I'm happy to make the post if you have the content (there are max message size constraints, but text without images should easily come in under the limit). --bradoaks On Mon, May 11, 2015 at 6:49 PM, Matt Hicks wrote: > My team has 2 positions (1 Sr. & 1 Jr.) for Perl devs. This is mostly > maintenance work on a home-grown Java self-service provisioning app. Global > finance industry (must pass background checks, etc.) Resumes and questions > welcome. > > --Matt > > _______________________________________________ > Raleigh-talk mailing list > Raleigh-talk at pm.org > http://mail.pm.org/mailman/listinfo/raleigh-talk > From mghicks at gmail.com Thu May 21 17:00:06 2015 From: mghicks at gmail.com (Matt Hicks) Date: Thu, 21 May 2015 20:00:06 -0400 Subject: [Raleigh-talk] Jobs In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: Hi Brad, Good seeing you, too.
