IPower was established in 2001 and has continually been growing ever
since. We currently have over 500,000 customers and foresee this number
growing! Due to this expansion, we are in need of an experienced
Software Engineer to come and lead one of our major efforts. The
qualified candidate will report directly to the Director of Development
and must be comfortable leading projects, mentoring other developers,
and helping IT management make timely and accurate decisions. Five years
of related experience as well as a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
and Computer Engineering are required. Experience in building web
related applications using PERL is a must. An interest in learning more
about enterprise level systems is desirable.

We use a modified RUP process and are open to improving it. The goal is
Just Enough Process.
We have extensive systems, network, and support people on site as well
as QA and the build manager. We just need a key Developer to come in and
write solid code, participate in design and code reviews, and generally
do what you do best.

IPOWER is located at Located on the edge of Downtown Phoenix (Jefferson
and 9th Street) with easy freeway access
