It is located at 5555 North 7th Avenue, which is about half a block north of Missouri (Between Bethany Home Rd. and Camelback W. of I17) on 7th Ave (East side of the street). Park in the big front lot. The lobby door will be locked, but someone will be there from 6:50 to 7:10 to let people in. Please be prompt, as once the meeting starts, there will be no one to let anyone in. I will be presenting a little utility that I hacked together (with the emphasis on hacked) to generate html pages from templates and html fragments for your delight and edification. The remaining time will be open. Does anyone have a favorite place to eat that they'd like to share? I'll set the meeting date once we get a place picked. Thanks! Yes, since I live on the Chandler side of the Tempe/Mesa/Chandler conjoin. :-) It's also why I haven't made it to any meetings [yet]. I just can't work up ambition to make it into central pheonix for much of any reason, even one as nifty as perl. This would be, what virtue #1: laziness? :-) BTW, if you haven't heard, PLUG, PJUG, AZSAGE (?), etc are trying to figure out how to pull in favors/strings what have you since Eric Raymond is going to be in PHX in a bit and trying to convince him to speak at one/some/all of the groups. Anyone not on those list(s) have resources? ESR is a good speaker.... I'm sure there are plenty of members to go around. :) I think that it would be great to have several individual groups that meet separately, and on occasion together. I hate to see people not participate because of travel distance. Some suggestions: Mesa.pm, Tempe.pm, Chandler.pm, ApacheJunction.pm (Bryan ;) ), etc. As it turns out, everyone who has been attending so far, live somewhat close to the meeting area. This leads me to the brilliant conclusion that there is a good chance that many of you don't want to or can't drive clear across creation for the meetings. If any of you are interested in starting your own local group, please contact me: dmiles@webpulse.com. I'll try to get you off to a good start. Please don't let your expertise or lack thereof stop you from starting a group. All it really takes is a willingness to get something started.
