Hi everyone,

I have some very sad news to pass along. David Adler passed away
earlier this week after a brief illness. Jim's email below has the
details for the funeral. Livestream info is now available:

David was one of the founders of NY.pm and Perl Mongers in general. If
you had the pleasure of meeting him at a Perl event you'll know what a
wonderful person he was. The Perl community won't be the same without
him.

With burial to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Queens.

brian d foy has suggested that an appropriate place to celebrate the life of
ny.pm's co-founder would be at the place we first met.  So let's meet up as
follows:

41 First Ave (btw. East 2nd & 3rd Sts), Manhattan
F-train to 2nd Ave (exit at 1st Ave)
