I've received the OK to reach out to you here on this mailing list and would like to bring to your attention, a $100K/year Perl developer position. This position is near the Philadelphia area (Bristol to be exact) and is with a large company (who just recently signed another major contract with Wells Fargo). For your convenience, I've attached the Job Description and the URL to the Job Description is at http://jobs.perl.org/job/16520 Its hard to find competent Perl developers and I can't think of a better place than Perl Mongers to reach out people who are enthusiastic about Perl. If this position is something that you find you are interested in, I encourage you to submit your resume. If you know of other strong Perl developers who might be interested but are not on this list, I'd be mighty thankful if you could forward this to them. Are we concerned that somebody is > going to receive this to his or her home server on a metered internet > connection or something? Agreed. This is 2012, and I assume most people's internet connections can handle the occasional large attachment. Mailman, the software that runs our mailing list, automatically holds large messages. Mike sent me the post first. He asked politely, and since it was professionally written and seemed perfectly reasonable as far as what his client is looking for, I didn't see any reason not to approve it. Our policy for a long time on this list has been to allow the occasional job posting, as long as it didn't get out of hand. Personally I don't think a single PDF attachment is "out of hand", but if anyone else disagrees please let me know. Walt -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
