There might be a classroom available and I can ask about that. But, I wanted to check-in with everyone first. Should we plan social events those days, perhaps at a bar or something? Or should we go with a traditional meeting? -- Darian Anthony Patrick, Criticode LLC Office: (215) 789-9956 Facsimile: (866) 789-2992 Email/XMPP: darian at criticode.com Web: http://criticode.com ================================================= BCF1 E7AD 15AD 8A99 F613 AF5F 2A9C C45C F580 E087 ================================================= * Signed and encrypted communications preferred. If we can get some speakers, I'd like to have traditional meetings. I will try to talk to a few people, but would like to be sure we have somewhere to have someone speak before I bother anyone. -- Thanks and best regards, Chris Nehren From waltman at pobox.com Tue May 1 08:51:39 2012 From: waltman at pobox.com (Walt Mankowski) Date: Tue, 1 May 2012 11:51:39 -0400 Subject: [Philadelphia-pm] Upcoming meetings In-Reply-To: <4F9FE521.1050409@criticode.com> References: <4F9FE521.1050409@criticode.com> Message-ID: <20120501155139.GC19424@mawode.com> On Tue, May 01, 2012 at 09:29:05AM -0400, Darian Anthony Patrick wrote: > Hi all, > > Here are dates for upcoming meetings: > > July 2 or 9 (we have the room both days -- we need to pick one of these > dates) > August 6 > > Unfortunately, the room is booked for another event on May 7 and June 4. > There might be a classroom available and I can ask about that. For July 2, Duck Duck Go has invited us to hold our meeting at their offices in Paoli. They've also offered to do the talk that month. So I think we're covered for that. I just scheduled my PhD defense for June 5. I'm going to be extremely busy between now and then, so unfortunately I won't be able to attend any phl.pm events between now and then. More details will follow as we get closer to the date. DDG will also be hosting a hackathon at their offices the weekend before our meeting. They're cleverly calling it "Quack And Hack 2012". It will be 2 days, June 30 and July 1, and they've invited anyone from phl.pm who wishes to attend. I'll ask for a different room for June 4. I think it's to late for next Monday. Sorry about that. I had a final and project to deal with for school. Should we shoot for the following Monday (May 14)? Will people be able to attend? Again, many apologies. Things have been hectic for me lately.
