This Conference Season I am presenting a talk on what I learned while
trying to get started using the Perl Dancer web framework. Monday is the first of five (or six if YAPC::EU says yes) chances to see it.

There are still two weeks before the DC-Baltimore Perl Workshop if you want to make a road trip on April 14.

If you miss it Monday here are your other chances to see the talk:

A 20 minute version with the steps to get from a blank Ubuntu box to
a working Hello World website including such things as:

- Installing gcc, perl, nginx, starman
- Creating a simple site using the example built by "dancer -a MyWeb::APP"
- Configuring NGINX to serve the site by setting a proxy for a URL to
use a port number to do the real serving

2012-06-13 YAPC::NA Madison WI http://act.yapcna.org/2012/talk/81

A longer version to make sure everything is working and to determine
exactly which parts make the 20 minute short version

       Levine Hall, 3330 Walnut St., Room 307, 7-9 PM

A 60 minute version with extras not in the 20 minute version like:

- A live demo of the hello world site as provided by Dancer
- A few simple changes to the site to show how to get started
- Install git to track changes to the site
- Install and configure gitosis so multiple users can work on the project and push to a shared repository on the server
