I just got back from vacation and my wife is sick and the contractor is coming on Wednesday. I am swamped. So I will not make the next Monger meeting. What needs done: - Confirm talk I would think this is the rest of Casey's AJAX talk. Does some one have an additional talk? - Confirm Slaymaker Systems for location. - Post to mailing list. - Post to pgh.pm.org. Thanks all see you next time. To get the ball rolling, who would be interesting in attending a festive and geekly gathering at 7 PM? We could meet at the Slaymaker Systems parking lot and then car pool to the venue of choice, say, the Church Brew Works. If you are interested, please make a follow-up post to the list. Message-ID: <49363.216.92.130.24.1153947368.squirrel@webmail3.pair.com> Do we have any talks scheduled for August yet? If not, I'd like to offer up "Objects, Inheritance, Dispatching, and NEXT". Talk time will be about 45 minutes. This will be a beginner-level talk (perhaps a bit remedial for the regulars). I'll get into a little bit about how you can write object oriented code in Perl. As the title implies, I explain how to set up inheritance amongst your classes and even get into a few tricks to make diamond inheritance work. Any takers? -Dan From rblackwe at speakeasy.net Thu Jul 27 16:32:21 2006 From: rblackwe at speakeasy.net (rblackwe at speakeasy.net) Date: Thu, 27 Jul 2006 23:32:21 +0000 Subject: [pgh-pm] Talks for August?
