If anyone thinks they may have trouble with 4 flights of stairs, please speak up (feel free to contact me off-list) and we can plan accordingly. -- Thursday March 9, 6:53pm at Tiffany Center 1410 SW Morrison (Hoping no snow, windstorm, ice storm, or downfall of civilization this time.) Funk: A Library for Functional Programming Lyle Kopnicky will present a work in progress: Funk, a library for functional programming. This currently includes a datatype for linked lists, option types, and generic functions for displaying and equality testing that work on both the new types and Perl data structures. Type constraints can also be imposed on the lists. He is soliciting feedback as to the architecture and functionality of the library. On behalf of your local Postgres Users' Group, I'd like to extend an invitation to our March meeting, the week after yours. We're having an Intro to Postgres talk, which our presenter, Grant Holly, describes as "Getting started with Postgresql for the uninitiated and bitter veterans". It's unlikely there will be Actual Perl Content [tm] but it's sure to be entertaining, and we'd love to see you, especially if you're interested in databases! It's 6-8pm Thursday March 16 at iovation (downtown in the US Bancorp tower); you can find directions and more info here: https://pdxpug.wordpress.com/2017/03/02/pdxpug-march-meeting-3/ gabrielle -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
