Hi,
A non-perl solution (but integrates nicely with Perl) is the use of R for the data and GGobi for the graphics.

Regarding last nights talk. The most interesting part from a programming poi was what looked like an implementation of dynamic programming to order the candidates by 1-n voting. Could we have a talk that goes into that in more detail sometime?

thanks for an interesting evening.
