Two weeks from now, programmer, Perl hacker, Linux fan, and currently
science fiction author Charlie Stross will be reading from his novels
"Merchant's War" and "Halting State".  Thursday October 11 at 700pm at

about a fantasy connection between higher mathematics, computer hacking,

The novel series "Merchant Princes" centers on a Scandinavian clan named
"Lofstrom" that has the ability to travel between alternate universes .
Blame that on my older sister ... in actuality, we rarely manage to stay
connected to this one.
