I went and setup a free web page at http://ksatech.psend.com/ and stuffed my real poor excuse for a web page as a place holder for another project. Please!! ... somebody make it nice and I will find a permanent place to post it. I have been hanging around at: http://www.matrixlist.com/ and finally some local programming content is happening. regards, // David // -- #!/usr/bin/perl -iake_one_down_pass_it_around:_bottles_of_beer:_on_the_wall:99 for(($t,$a,$b,$i)=split/:/,$^I;$i;print){$_="-$i$a$b,-$i$a,-T$t,-".--$i."$a$b-"; s/(-1_.*?e)s/$1/g; y/_-/ \n/ } # by Randolph Chung and Joey Hess From pug at taut.oau.org Sat Jan 20 21:23:48 2001 From: pug at taut.oau.org (Perl Monger) Date: Thu Aug 5 00:08:26 2004 Subject: Another pulse check required In-Reply-To: from "Robert J Van Der Ploeg" at Jan 14, 2001 09:59:46 PM Message-ID: <200101210323.WAA23673@taut.oau.org> Robert J Van Der Ploeg wrote: > Hi David. You name a date and location that is good for you and we can see if anyone else would be interested. My previous note was short and I not sure what was wrong with the web page as I had trouble later getting it to show once. I will again cut and paste what I have pulled up under the 'lynx' browser: -=-=-=-=- File that you are currently viewing Linkname: Perl Mongers of Orlando URL: http://ksatech.psend.com/ -=-=-=-=- If we can get this group to take off and be useful we might have to re-register with PerlMongers a new entry (I have wanted the Orlando name) to point to our stuff. I did setup another maillist at egroups but had only one other interested person sign up. That resource has an area to post files and setup and schedule events. I am on several other lists run by other people and it appears to work for them. But if you all are not interested in using egroups for some reason my feelings would not be hurt. I am active in a Linux group called LEAP-CF and we have some good people particpating there and some are programmers. Not only do they promote Linux but are active in promoting open source tools and projects. > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-orlando-pm-list@pm.org [mailto:owner-orlando-pm-list@pm.org]On > Behalf Of Perl Monger > Sent: Saturday, January 13, 2001 11:39 PM > To: Orlando PerlMonger mail list > Cc: programming #101 list > Subject: Another pulse check required > > Hello guys and gals, > > What's not happening here? > > I went and setup a free web page at http://ksatech.psend.com/ and stuffed > my real poor excuse for a web page as a place holder for another project. > > Please!! ... somebody make it nice and I will find a permanent place to post > it. > > I have been hanging around at: > > http://www.matrixlist.com/ > > and finally some local programming content is happening. regards, // David // -- #!/usr/bin/perl -iake_one_down_pass_it_around:_bottles_of_beer:_on_the_wall:99 for(($t,$a,$b,$i)=split/:/,$^I;$i;print){$_="-$i$a$b,-$i$a,-T$t,-".--$i."$a$b-"; s/(-1_.*?e)s/$1/g; y/_-/ \n/ } # by Randolph Chung and Joey Hess
