Part two has a short interview segment at the end with Doug Gilmore. And here's the link to Woz's more interesting speech (http://www.itconversations.com/shows/detail214.html). IT conversations + iPod: makes going to the gym more bearable. /dave From bill at daze.net Wed Dec 1 12:12:43 2004 From: bill at daze.net (bill@daze.net) Date: Wed Dec 1 12:12:53 2004 Subject: [Oc-pm] Wil Wheaton tonight in HB In-Reply-To: <709EC475-43BF-11D9-B9A0-0003939F10F8@mac.com> References: <8FFBCE8C59BF814B8258905C9B4D831720F991@sonoma-main.sonoma.local> <20041130201109.G32318@droid.daze.net> <709EC475-43BF-11D9-B9A0-0003939F10F8@mac.com> Message-ID: <20041201100819.D52161@droid.daze.net> On Wed, 1 Dec 2004, Dave Roe wrote: > You can hear for yourself at IT Conversations > (http://www.itconversations.com/shows/detail220.html). Yeah, the IT Conversations guys were great. I think they streamed and archived the entire conference. I haven't listened to any of the streams since I heard everything live, however I might get Woz's talk to listen to again. > IT conversations + iPod: makes going to the gym more bearable. Now that would make it be just like a book on tape (Wil's talk at least). ;) So, did anyone go to B&N last night? I went, and had a pretty good time. His impression of it is on his blog at http://www.wilwheaton.net, and it was pretty much as he said, it was funny hearing him trying to edit out curse words on the fly whilst reading from his book :) Definitely worth the price of admission...wait, there was no price of admission...so I can't complain :-) But really, he is a entertaining guy, so it was well worth it to me to make the short drive up to HB. -Doug From dgwilson at sonomasystems.net Thu Dec 2 11:29:18 2004 From: dgwilson at sonomasystems.net (Wilson, Douglas) Date: Thu Dec 2 11:29:35 2004 Subject: [Oc-pm] Happy holidays Message-ID: <8FFBCE8C59BF814B8258905C9B4D831720F9A1@sonoma-main.sonoma.local> You probably already know about this, but it's that time of year again when we get a module with a mini-tutorial every day until the 25th: http://perladvent.org/
