Had a good time last night, although some regulars were sorely missed ;)

We went over the basic constructs of what makes a perl daemon - the 
POSIX module, the setsid exported function and friends.  I had printouts 
made of the network monitoring daemon I had created and we went through 
it, explaining each portion in detail.

After that we had an in depth discussion about perl datastructures, 
references and objects.

All in all, it went pretty well.  Next month's meeting will be based on 
File::Find and it's ubiquitous purposes ;)
