I've been waiting patiently for State of the Onion 9.
A little while ago I was alerted to 
the announcement of it by chromatic on Slashdot.
Now I've read the announcement, 
the top level of comments on the announcement
and the latest State of the Onion. 

You may (or may not) wish to look at some of that too.
Anyway, you know what's available.
