Am I the only one who finds it mildly annoying when I see
'high' or 'highest' in red on new email and drop whatever
I'm doing to see what the emergency is only to find this is
a posting of a job notice?

Please don't get me wrong, although I'm quite busy now it's
just wonderful to know we're in demand; who knows when I'll
be looking for new clients? But I also have production stuff
and the like, and rarely if ever see these priorities used
by anyone but a job poster.

Is this making sense? Am I sounding reasonable, or
unreasonable?
