Permanent Positions

SportsLine.com is looking to expand its operations and needs talented
engineers to develop the next generation of Fantasy Sports
products. Your responsibilities include developing, testing,
maintaining and supporting high performance, scalable, innovative
web-based applications, working in all phases of a rapid product
development lifecycle. Frequent interaction with all aspects of
product development, including customer service, technical support,
software design, and quality assurance teams.

We are looking for Jr. and Sr. Level Programmers.

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent (M.S. a plus
2+ years of experience with the Perl programming language
2+ years of experience with CGI/web based programming
Experience developing/designing large software systems
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Experience with Java, JavaScript, Apache web servers and mod_perl is a
plus


SENIOR SYSTEM AND NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

Your primary responsibilities will include system administration of
all user workstations and production servers, along with the network
administration of both our office networks and production
SportsLine.com network. We run Linux on most of our workstations, with a
handful of Windows 98/NT machines. Our network components are
primarily Cisco switches and routers. Your responsibilities will also
include some operational duties, programming and overseeing small
and medium sized projects.

Other Responsibilities
Building, installing and managing packages
Managing NIS, bind, sendmail and other basic Unix services
Hardware purchases, builds and OS installs
Office network management/wiring

Requirements
3-4 years working with Unix, 1+ working with Linux
2 years experience with shell script programming
2 year's experience with Perl programming
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
A flexible work schedule
Ability to communicate and work well with the user community you will
support
Experience with IP protocol suite, SNMP, RPM, CVS, Apache, and Cisco IOS
is a plus
Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize and follow up on
outstanding tasks.
