Matt - can you send me (or the list) a short version of what you've got
that loads the array?  It'll take about 10 minutes, but I can quite easily
write a comparator for sort that will do exactly what I think you want.
:-)  Having your code to start off with will save some time.

Also - please note there is a module which is designed to make working
with the process table reasonably painless and portable -
Proc::ProcessTable (D/DU/DURIST/Proc-ProcessTable-0.28.tar.gz).  I haven't
used it, but I've liked what I've read about it.  I've got a project where
I want to play with it one of these days.  :-)
