From autarch at urth.org Fri Jan 1 12:40:17 2016 From: autarch at urth.org (Dave Rolsky) Date: Fri, 1 Jan 2016 14:40:17 -0600 (CST) Subject: [Mpls-pm] Perl 6 talk requests? Message-ID: I posted this on the Meetup group but I'll send it here too ... For the next MPM meeting, I'm planning to talk for about 20-30 minutes on some Perl 6 topic. Obviously, that's nowhere near enough time to talk about the whole language, so I'm open to suggestions on a specific things to talk about. Some possibilities: * Async programming * OO programming * Native call interface to C and C++ * Something else - suggestions welcome On Meetup, someone suggested "What in Perl 6 will be the biggest adjustment for experienced Perl programmers?" This is great question but it might be little too much to fit into a short talk, since a lot of things are quite different.
