Hello all,

Since I have been unable to secure the use of a projector, the room I'd 
hoped to use on the 11th won't work.

The room at TechPro will be available on Thursday 12 July, and Dave and 
Chris are able to attend. All that remains is to secure some attendees - 
would people be happy going to a meeting on the Thursday instead of the 
Wednesday?

I gave the talk on OpenGuides in St. Paul tonight. The slides[1] are  
online (and the link will be on the wiki) but I figured it was good  
to e-mail it those interested (and those who missed the talk).

For those who missed the talk The TwinCities OpenGuides is a City  
Guide for Minneapolis and St. Paul using the OpenGuides wiki  
application from CPAN. The point of the Guide is to allow people who  
live in the Cities to share information about places to go. For  
example tonight someone mentioned that they were going to add all the  
Dim Sum restaurants they knew about in the hopes that others would  
add some he didn't know about ... and that is the exact intention of  
the Guide.

Please feel free to edit anything you see fit, and e-mail me  
questions (or leave notes on my node on the Guide) or visit  
#openguides on irc.perl.org.

Thanks to all who attended the technical meeting last night, and 
especially to Dave and Chris for speaking, and to Ehren and TechPro for 
providing the meeting room (and cookies...).

I've added links to the slides to

We have a few more talks lined up already, so there'll be another 
meeting sooner rather than later. Ehren said that the room was probably 
not available on 8 August, but that we should be OK for 12 September. As

technical meeting in September.
