[mplspm]: Problem with dynamic linking XS -- static Perl binary??

Duhh...  Sorry, meant to include that.  HP C compiler (not the bungled -- err,
bundled one, but the full one), HP-UX 10.20, Perl 5.6.1 -- just downloaded
Monday.
