The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on 25th
May. I'm sure that you have all had various emails asking you to
confirm you wish to stay subscribed to various lists and company
marketing, or advising you of updated terms and privacy policies. There
is a good article on the GDPR at
https://united-kingdom.taylorwessing.com/globaldatahub/article-the-data-protection-principles-under-the-gdpr.html
that was shared with me recently.

*Regarding Milton Keynes Perl Mongers

Your email address (and optionally name if you gave this information) is
stored in Mailman for the purpose of forwarding the list emails to you
and providing list administration messages (e.g. moderation, monthly
subscription confirmation emails, etc.). Only the admins can see this
information

You can change your details and unsubscribe at
http://mail.pm.org/mailman/listinfo/miltonkeynes-pm

<https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/options/mk>or by email by sending an
email from your subscribed address to mk-request at mailman.lug.org.ukwith
'Unsubscribe' in the subject (or use this handy link
<mailto:mk-request at mailman.lug.org.uk?subject=unsubscribe> to set up the
email for you to send). On completion of the process this will
completely remove your email address (and, if previously added, name)
from the mailing list.

Your details are not shared with third parties, except where you send an
email to the list: then your email, email address and email headers are
shared with members of the Milton Keynes Perl Mongers mailing list.
